With all the Occupy Wall Street hoopla going on, and people often asking me why I'm always so concerned about the bottom line, I decided to write this poem. I'm an American entrepreneur who believes in the "eat what you kill" philosophy. Hopefully this provides some clairvoyance for some.
Without the private sector... That monster that everyone loathes... Full of greed and loopholes and bad things... Made up of those companies ran by the rich one percenters... Those who have the ability to create jobs... Or not create jobs... Which allows for you to have a paycheck... Which allows for you to pay your taxes... Which allows for you to pay into social security... Which allows for you to have gas money to attend and support your church... Which allows for you to have money to buy food... Which allows for you to have money to donate to charities... Which allows for you to have the money to buy signs for your protests... Which allows for you to have the money to buy a home, or rent... Which allows for you to have the money to seek out a spouse...same or opposite sex Which allows for you to have the money to buy music, cars, iphones, clothes, tvs, internet Which allows for you to have the money to be entertained at concerts and movies
Which allows for you to have a government... Which allows for you to have... safe air travel quality roads police, public safety and security jails and prisons
Which allows for you to have the TIME to complain about all of this.
